It was 10:30PM, Friday and we were H-U-N-G-R-Y. We had just come from the performance of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra with his Papa and we were dressed a little nicer than usual so we needed a good restaurant (no dives or fastfoods) with a kitchen open 24 hours. Old Swiss Inn was the only place that came to mind. His dad had the sea bass, Eric a steak while I had chicken with pasta -- servings are big! If we weren’t so hungry, we probably wouldn’t have been able to finish it. Except for my pasta being a little over-cooked, everything was up to par. It’s funny because I wanted to visit Old Swiss Inn for the chocolate fondue – but after dinner we were too full to have dessert! Oh well, another time then.

Eric loves dessert. If you were to ask him which he prefers, ice cream or cake, he’d probably ask for both. =D According to his sister, Cold Rock is like the Australian version of Cold Stone -- you pick an ice cream flavor and your mixings, the server then smashes and folds everything together. For people who’ve never heard of either place, it’s like 2001 Flavors or Dairy Queen sans the mixing machine. My chocoholic boo had the chocolate ice cream with chocolate fudge and a choco mallow; I had the mint ice cream with a fudge brownie and a shot of chocolate syrup. YUMMY! Another place worthy of your hard earned pesos.
