Reception venue

Balay Indang
Mahabang Kahoy, Circa,
Indang, Cavite

Compared to booking the church, finding the right reception venue was a long and drawn-out process. We wanted a place that would allow us to bring in our own caterer, not too far from the church (or at least on the way back to Manila), would have a covered area to protect people from the elements and also a garden for guests to roam around in. Quite a tall order, huh? But after ten months, countless Google searches, three road trips to almost twenty places and one near-anxiety attack, we found the one.

Upon entering Balay Indang, Eric immediately perked up (he had fallen asleep during the 45 minute drive it took to find the place) and went for the camera. We had seen photos before, but to be there in person was totally different. It took some time for me to regain my senses and make my way to Eric who was running here and there taking pictures then turning to me with a huge smile on his face. It was a wonderful moment for us and inwardly I was holding my breath because it seemed too good to be true.

Balay Indang is a two-hectare property in Indang, Cavite that is dotted with trees and wide open spaces. As you meander through you’ll come across gazebos and treehouses, interesting walkways and a glass pebble path. Meals are served in the main house while guests can stay in one of three cottages located behind the covered pavilion and swimming pool. It’s a relaxing and beautiful place, perfect for retreats or some R&R when city life gets a little too hectic. They’re constructing a bigger place to host larger functions (their maximum capacity right now is 60 people).

Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.
